Claudio Pettinari, former Rector of UNICAM (2017–2023), (CRUI representative for research and the third mission, 2021–2023). Associate Member of the CNR, affiliated with IUSS Pavia, President of NQSTI. Recipient of the Flavio Bonati Prize, the Raffaello Nasini Medal, the Sacconi Lecture, the GICO-2026 Prize; Honorary Doctorate from the University of Galati; member of the Academies of Lisbon and Bologna. His research focuses on organometallic chemistry, innovative materials and MOFs. 470 publications, 5 patents, 6 books. Director of the International School of Organometallic Chemistry; member of the Boards of Directors of Almalaurea, APRE and UNISIENA; member of the Scientific Council of APENET; member of the CNR-IUPAC Committee; and Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Fabriano Museum of Paper and Watermarks. He was a member of the EUA (research and innovation strategies).
