Giacomo De Palma

Full Professor of Mathematical Physics, Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna

Giacomo De Palma is Full Professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Bologna, where he leads the Quantum Information Theory group and coordinates the Mathematics degree programmes. He previously held positions at MIT, the University of Copenhagen and Scuola Normale Superiore. His research focuses on the mathematical foundations of quantum information, quantum computing, quantum many-body systems and machine learning. He is a Benedictine Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Bologna Institute.
