Gian Francesco Giudice

Research Professor of Physics, New York University, Abu Dhabi

Gian Francesco Giudice served as Director of the Department of Theoretical Physics at CERN and is now a professor at New York University Abu Dhabi and a member of the Accademia dei Lincei. One of the most prestigious international figures in theoretical elementary particle physics, he has conducted research in the United States and Europe, making fundamental contributions to our understanding of the subnuclear world and its implications for the early history of the universe. He is the author of two popular science books: Odyssey in Zeptospace (Springer, 2010) and Before the Big Bang (Rizzoli, 2023).
