Halima G. Ahmad is a researcher at the ‘Antonio Barone’ Lab of the University of Napoli "Federico II". She got her Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics in 2021. She gained experience in Josephson-based superconducting quantum systems and Gate-based superconducting Quantum Computing. Within Spoke 10 of ICSC, she supervised the construction of the first superconducting quantum computing center in Italy (Partenope), the characterization/calibration of 25- and 64-qubit processors, and the implementation of hardware-aware quantum algorithms, in collaboration with academia and industry.
