Mario Nobile

Director General, Agency for Digital Italy, Rome

A graduate in Civil Engineering with a PhD in Transport Engineering, he has held various managerial roles in the fields of spatial planning and IT services. In 2010, he joined the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, where he was responsible for urban regeneration programmes and housing policy, the management and maintenance of the Ministry’s property portfolio, support technologies and logistics optimisation. Since February 2015, he has held the post of Director-General for Digitalisation, Information Systems and Statistics at the Ministry. Since March 2023, he has been Director-General of AgID.
