Massimo Bernaschi

Massimo Bernaschi worked at IBM for 10 years, receiving two Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards.Since 1998, he has been a Director of Technology of the National Research Council (CNR).He serves on the Technical Committee of Experts of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance.He is the delegate to the European Defence Agency for “Communication, Information Systems and Networks.”For his contributions to GPU programming, NVIDIA awarded him the title of CUDA Fellow.Since 2022, he has been Vice President of GARR, the consortium that manages the Italian research and education network.
