Senior Research Associate, CNR-IFN

Researcher at CNR (1980-1992), Professor of Physics at Politecnico di Milano (1992-2013, 2022-2024), director of CNR-IFN (2013-2022), now Senior Research Associate at CNR-IFN. President of the European Optical Society (2006-2008), International Commission for Optics (2017-2021). Member of Photonics21 BoS since 2010, vice-president since 11/2023. Her research has covered several fields in Optics, Photonics, fs-Laser Micromachining. In 2020 she received OSA (now OPTICA) Robert E. Hopkins Leadership Award. OPTICA and EOS Fellow, Chinese Optical Society International Fellow, EOS Honorary Member.
