Roberto Di Candia

Roberto Di Candia is an Academy of Finland Research Fellow at Aalto University (Finland). Previously, he held postdoctoral positions as a Humboldt Fellow at Freie University of Berlin and as a Marie Curie Fellow at Aalto University. Roberto is an expert in continuous-variable quantum information and works at the intersection of theoretical quantum information, experimental microwave quantum technology, and microwave communication engineering. He is actively pursuing research interests in quantum communication and sensing with low-powered devices, including emerging applications in quantum backscatter communication and sensing for the Internet of Things.
