Stefano Carretta

Full Professor of Theoretical Physics of Matter, University of Parma

Stefano Carretta is a Full Professor of Theoretical Physics of Matter at the University of Parma and the Rector’s Delegate for European and International Research. His research focuses primarily on the theoretical modeling of spin systems and the development of applications for quantum technologies, with pioneering contributions to the use of molecular nanomagnets in quantum information. He coordinates the research activities of the Spin-based Quantum Science group (https://www.spinquantumscience.unipr.it/) and has served as Principal Investigator on numerous national and international projects.
