Valeria Zaffaroni is an IT Application Architect at the Quantum Competence Center of Intesa Sanpaolo. With a strong interest in quantum mechanics, she earned a Master’s degree in Mathematics in 2016 at the University of Milan "UNIMI", followed by a second-level Master’s degree in Quantum Communication and Computing in the 2022–2023 academic year at the Polytechnic University of Turin. She is currently focused on quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms for optimization problems, to bridge research, innovation, and real-world applications in the financial sector.
