Aldo Di Carlo is Full Professor at the Dept. of Electronic Eng. at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Director of the Institute of Structure of Matter of CNR, President of the CNR Research Area RM2 and founded the Center for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy (CHOSE). Di Carlo's research interests include the study, design, and optimization of optoelectronic materials and devices with focus on emerging photovoltaic including the use of AI and self-driven laboratories for material discovery. He has authored over 700 international scientific publications and coordinated several European projects.
