A nuclear engineer with over 30 years of experience in the sector, he has worked at ENEA since 1999 and has served as Director of the Nuclear Department since 2019. He coordinates ENEA’s R&D activities in the fields of fission, fusion, health, cultural heritage, and space. He is responsible for ENEA’s collaborations with key public and private, national and international stakeholders in the nuclear sector. He coordinates the construction of the Divertor Tokamak Test facility on behalf of ENEA. Since 2015, he has been the operator of the TRIGA and TAPIRO research nuclear reactors. From 2013 to 2020, he served as Chairman of the subsidiary Nucleco S.p.A.
