Alessandro Scortecci is CIO for Direct Investments at CDP Venture Capital, where he manages €3Bn across 16 funds, overseeing investments in startups and innovative SMEs across all stages and supporting value creation for over 400 companies. He also serves on several Investment Committees, as Partner for the InfraTech Fund and on the BoD of Generative Bionics. With nearly 20 years of experience, he was formerly a Partner at BCG and has worked in the Middle East, UK, and US. He holds an engineering degree from the University of Bologna, a master’s degree from Cornell, and an MBA from INSEAD.
