Claudio Giannetti

Claudio Giannetti is Dean of the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. He heads the Interdisciplinary Laboratories for Advanced Materials Physics and is internationally recognised for his research into ultrafast spectroscopy and quantum materials. The author of over 100 publications in leading journals, he coordinates national and international projects dedicated to the control of matter using light and to the development of new techniques for manipulating matter on ultra-fast time scales and developing quantum logic operations in high-temperature materials.
