Claudio Pettinari, former Rector of UNICAM (2017–2023), (CRUI representative for research and the third mission, 2021–2023). Associate of the CNR, affiliated with IUSS Pavia, President of NQSTI. Recipient of the Flavio Bonati Award, the Raffaello Nasini Medal, the Sacconi Lecture, the GICO-2026 Award, Honorary Doctorate from the University of Galati, member of the Academies of Lisbon and Bologna. His research focuses on organometallic chemistry, innovative materials and MOFs. 470 publications, 5 patents, 6 books. Director of the International School of Organometallic Chemistry, member of the Boards of Directors of Almalaurea, APRE and UNISIENA, of the Scientific Council of APENET, of the CNR-IUPAC Committee and Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Museum of Paper and Watermarks in Fabriano. He was a member of the EUA (research and innovation strategies).
