Eglantina Kalluci

Eglantina Kalluci, PhD in Mathematics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana, Albania. She has held administrative duties at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana (Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics (2014), Vice Dean for Bachelor and Master Curricula (2016-2024)) and since 2024 Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana. Her research and teaching activity is focused in Numerical Analysis, Complex Systems, Data Mining in Complex Networks, Machine Learning in Genomic Data and Parallel programming. She has performed periodic teaching experiences at the University of Graz, Austria (2019- ongoing), University of IMT Mines Ales, France (2023 - ongoing) and University of Bologna, Italy (2018) and has performed an scientific research at the University of Thessaloniki (December 2006- September 2007). She is chief editor of the Bulletin of Natural Sciences Journal (Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana) and editor in the journal Frontiers in Microbiology, Lausanne, Switzerland. Author and co-author in university and pre-university textbooks, translator and adapter in pre-university Mathematics textbooks. Member of several associations (Academy of Sciences of Albania, Albanian Mathematical Association (AMA), ALBSIM-Albania Simulation). She has coordinated many national and international projects (financed from national agencies and European Union), as Erasmus+ Key Action 1, 2, Interreg EU and COST Actions.
