He has covered all the stages of his academic career at the Politecnico di Milano: full professor of “Energy Conversion” from 1980 to 2014. Appointed Professor Emeritus by the Minister of University and Research in 2016. He actively contributed to the creation of the Department of Energy of the Politecnico di Milano, of which he was the first director.
