Fabio Beltram

Professor of Condensed Matter Physics, Scuola Normale Superiore and Scientific Coordinator of NQSTI, Pisa

Fabio Beltram Holds Doctor Degrees in Physics and Electronic Engineering. He Conducted Research at Bell Laboratories (1986–1991) and has been at the Scuola Normale Superiore since 1992, where he is Professor of Physics of Matter and Director of Laboratorio NEST. He served as Director of the Scuola Normale Superiore (2010–2016) and as a member of the board of ANVUR (2016–2020). He is currently scientific coordinator of the National Quantum Science and Technology Institute. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, Senior Member of IEEE, and Grande Ufficiale of the Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana.
