Fabio Pezzoli holds a PhD in Nanostructures and Nanotechnologies. He had been a visiting student at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz and conducted postdoctoral work in Germany at the Max-Planck and Leibniz Institutes. He has investigated light-matter interaction and quantum properties of semiconductor architectures exploring various applications. He was a recipient of a young-physicist award by the Italian Physical Society. Presently, he is an associate professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca, where he leads investigations on spin-dependent phenomena in group IV materials.
