Federica Gerace is a Tenure-Track Researcher (RTDa) in Mathematical Physics at the University of Bologna and Co-founder and Chief AI Officer of SynDiag, a fem-tech spin-off developing deep learning solutions for digital health. Her research lies at the intersection of mathematical physics, statistics, probability theory, and theoretical machine learning, with a particular focus on medical applications.
She has conducted research at leading institutions including EPFL, SISSA, and the Institut de Physique Théorique in Paris. She is the author of publications in internationally renowned journals and conferences such as Physical Review Letters (PRL), NeurIPS, and ICML.
