Francesca Ferrari is Professor of Civil Procedure at the University of Insubria and holds the Italian qualification for full professorship in Civil Procedure and Comparative Law. A Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School and Maastricht University, she has published over 100 works on civil procedure, IP, copyright, AI and antitrust. She served as Italy’s IP and Consumer Protection Attaché to the EU (2023–2025). A former law firm partner, she specializes in cross-border IP litigation, pharmaceuticals, emerging technologies and the legal implications of quantum technologies.
