Francesca Ferrari is Professor of Civil Procedural Law at the University of Insubria, Director of the Teaching and Learning Centre, and Senior Scholar at the IP Policy Institute of the University of Akron School of Law. She served as the Italian expert on Intellectual Property and Consumer Protection at the Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Union (2023–2025) and as a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School and Maastricht University. The author of over 100 publications, her areas of expertise include civil procedure, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, copyright, antitrust law and transnational litigation in the field of intellectual property.
