Giacomo De Palma

Full Professor of Mathematical Physics

Giacomo De Palma is Full Professor of Mathematical Physics at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Bologna, where he coordinates the Quantum Information Theory research group. He graduated with honors in Physics from the University of Pisa and obtained his Master's and PhD in Physics, both with honors, from the Scuola Normale Superiore. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen and MIT, RTD-B at the Scuola Normale Superiore, and Associate Professor at the University of Bologna. He is a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Institute of Bologna.
