Giuseppe Calabrò

Full Professor of Nuclear Fusion, University of Tuscia, Viterbo and Advisor on Energy Security, Minister of Defense

Giuseppe Calabrò is a Full Professor of Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Fusion, as well as Director of the University’s Integrated Research Center at the University of Tuscia. He serves as an advisor on energy security to the Minister of Defense. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the European university network FuseNet and an expert with the National Platform for Sustainable Nuclear Energy at MASE. From 2003 to 2017, he worked at ENEA – Fusion. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering as a visiting student at the European Joint Experimental Tokamak (JET) nuclear fusion laboratory in the UK.
