Halima Giovanna Ahmad is a PNRR RTDA Research Fellow at the University of Naples Federico II, funded by the ICSC National Centre. She holds a PhD in Physics (2021) and specialises in gate-based quantum computing on superconducting platforms. She coordinated the activities for the installation of Italy’s first superconducting quantum computing centre (Partenope and Ligea), overseeing the characterisation and calibration of 5-, 25- and 64-qubit processors and the implementation of quantum algorithms. She is a co-founder of the spin-off Napoli Quantum Bay.
