Ivo Rendina

Director of the Institute of Applied Sciences and Intelligent Systems “Eduardo Caianiello”, CNR

Ivo Rendina (Italy) is the director of the Institute of Applied Sciences and Intelligent Systems “Eduardo Caianiello” (ISASI) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). He also teaches optoelectronics at the Universidad de San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador. He is past-president of the Società Italiana di Ottica e Fotonica and fellow of the European Optical Society. He holds 10 patents, more than 400 publications, and has given more than 30 invited and plenary talks in scientific conferences in the field of photonics and intelligent microsystems.
