Prof. Marco D. Santambrogio is Full Professor at Politecnico di Milano and Adjunct Professor at UIC College of Engineering since 2009. Since January 2026, he has served as the Rector’s delegate for student entrepreneurship programs. He was Research Affiliate at MIT CSAIL (2010–2015). He holds degrees from Politecnico di Milano and UIC, including a PhD in Computer Engineering. He founded NECST and directs NECSTLab, where he researches and teaches reconfigurable computing, hardware/software co-design, embedded systems, autonomic systems, and high-performance computing.
