Marco Scurria

Senator, Italian Republic

Marco Scurria, born in Rome on 18 May 1967, is an Italian politician with a degree in Political Science. After starting out in the MSI and serving as a PdL MEP (2009–2014), he joined Fratelli d’Italia in 2012. Elected Senator in 2022, he is Secretary of the EU Policies Committee, Vice-Chair of the FdI group in the Senate and a member of the Italian Delegation to the Council of Europe, where he also serves as Vice-Chair of the Migration Committee. He is a member of the Committee on Hate, Racism and Anti-Semitism, chairs the Italy-Azerbaijan Friendship Group and the Transatlantic Friends of Israel. He focuses on foreign policy, security, the EU and the rights of Iranian women.
