Paola Taroni

Paola Taroni is full Professor of Physics at Politecnico di Milano since 2011. She is co-author of more than 150 scientific papers on international peer-reviewed journals (Scopus H-index: 49 on 21-08-26). Her research activity concerns the development of photonics systems operating in the time domain and their applications for non-invasive diagnostics, with special focus on the clinical use of time domain diffuse optical spectroscopy and imaging for breast cancer management (diagnostics, risk assessment, therapy monitoring), and more recently for monitoring lung conditions.
