Raffaella Calarco

Deputy Research Director of the Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems, CNR, Rome

Research and Deputy Director at the Institute for microelectronic and microsystems of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche CNR in Rome. Master degree in Physics (University Tor Vergata) and PhD in Materials Science (University La Sapienza). She worked at RWTH Aachen University and at Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany on III-nitrides. Till 2019, she worked at the Paul Drude Institute in Berlin Germany on III-nitride and phase-change materials, receiving the Ovshinski Lectureship Award 2017. She works on phase-change materials and chalcogenides for memories and neuromorphic applications.
