Since the early 1980s, Roberto Todeschini has been involved in chemometrics and its applications to chemistry, focusing on the study of the relationships between molecular structure and properties. In the early 1990s, he founded the Milano Chemometrics and QSAR Research Group and is one of the founders of the International Academy of Mathematical Chemistry, of which he served as president for five years. The author of over 250 scientific publications and five books, he is currently an honorary professor at the University of Milan-Bicocca and the Universidad de l’Azuay (Cuenca, Ecuador).
