Sergio Strozzi

Embassy Counsellor and Head of Office IV for Technological Innovation and Start-ups, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI)

Sergio Strozzi was born in Alessandria, Italy, on 29 December 1972. He graduated in Law from the University of Turin in 1997 and joined the Italian Diplomatic Service in 2001.
From 2004 to 2008, he served as Economic and Commercial Affairs Counsellor at the Embassy of Italy in Budapest, Hungary. From 2008 to 2012, he was Consul General of Italy in Vlorë, Albania. From 2021 to 2025, he served again as Consul General of Italy in San Francisco.
Since September 2025, he has been serving at the Directorate General for the Promotion of the Country System of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, where he heads the Office for Innovative Technology Supply Chains.
