Stefan Janaqi

Professor, Researcher, and Consultant in Data Science, ELF Antar France

He began his journey into data science with a solid academic background, starting with five years of university studies in both pure and applied mathematics. He then specialized in mathematical optimization and numerical methods, followed by a research master’s degree (formerly DEA) in operations research and a Ph.D. in graph theory at ENSIMAG.

In late 1995, he secured a position as a postdoctoral researcher at ELF Antar France, working on the reliability of machine learning models.

Since then, he has worked as a professor-researcher and consultant in Data Science, developing numerous models applied to various fields, including the oil industry, medical pathologies, and, more recently, movement signatures and rhythmic and musical structures.
