Stefano Leonardi

Professor of Computer Engineering, Sapienza University of Rome

Stefano Leonardi is a Professor of Computer Engineering at La Sapienza University. His research Focuses on Algorithm theory and its applications to the Digital Economy and Machine Learning. He has held visiting professorship positions at Carnegie Mellon University, Google, the University of California, Berkeley, Meta and New York University. He is a member of the ACM, the EATCS and the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei. He has received the ERC Advanced Grant and the Google Research Award. He has served as General Chair of major international conferences including ACM WSDM 2013, WWW 2015, ACM STOC 2022 and ACM EC 2026.
